Tool Box information

1. Draw project to scale:
• 1 Top
• 2 Sides
• 1 Bottom
• 1 Front
• 1 Back
• 2 Runners
• 1 Tray
• 2 Tray support

2. Determine amount of material needed:
• Pine
• Hardware hinges, latch, handles, lock
• Screws, nails
3. Layout material for cutting
• Rip
• Crosscut
• Planning
• Joining
• Surface planning
4. Cut Material
• Crosscut
• Rip
• Join

5. Layout dovetail on side and top and bottom piece than cut

6. Fit pieces together

7. Determine sizes for front and back panels and cut

8. Rabbit front and back piece

9. Glue and nail box together

10. Cut bottom runners to fit 1”X1”X24”

11. Cut inside tray rails to fit inside of tool box

12. Measure tray to fit inside box on rails- draw orthographic projection

13. Cut one dovetail joint for each corner

14. ¼” plywood bottom
